A live performance on the roof top and a tragic ending, as a Performer plunges to her death. An eyewitness account sets the scene - Granada news report. The Performer’s final recording is now available from the Diskery and the bookshop at the House of the Book Lover.
THE CANTONA TAPES
The story of the now forgotten recordings made by Springsteen and Eric Cantona, brought together by the Music Lover in May 1999 for an historic session and subsequently overshadowed by Manchester United’s historic treble later that month.

The Nighthawk, Manchester’s premier jazz and blues club. The work pays homage to the long roster of musicians who have graced the stage, together with a tribute to vinyl; Maurice and the Diskery were located on the ground floor over, a much loved record store from the days of record albums and sleeves.

The Grand Guignol Theatre Players present an evening of murder, mutilation and mayhem. Meanwhile the doorman at the theatre bar upstairs lies dying,
killed in an act of random violence.
